Case I.?Sowar Bhart Singh, aged 26, Rajput, on 9th August, while acting as a beater, was attacked by a wounded tigress. His matchlock missed fire; he struck one blow on the head with his talwar, and was then knocked down. One of the officers with ?whom he had gone out, shot the tigress through the head while she was standing over the sowar. We are documenting the first case of human wound infection with A. hydrophila following a tiger bite.
